6-Week Wheel Throwing Pottery Course

In this 6-week pottery course, you’ll build a solid foundation in wheel-thrown ceramics. Starting with a simple ball of clay, you’ll learn how to shape it into something beautiful and entirely your own 🙂

We’ll cover all the essentials: wedging, centering (the most gloriously frustrating yet strangely hypnotising process you’ll ever experience), wheel throwing, trimming, and decorating. In the final week, we’ll come together for a glazing session to transform your pieces into fully functional, finished ceramics.

Possible projects include small bowls, tumblers, plant pots, vases, mugs — or something delightfully in between.

Each 2.5-hour lesson is fully guided, while still giving you space to discover your own rhythm and personal approach to the wheel. The final 15 minutes of every class are reserved for cleaning your wheel and tools, ensuring the studio is…
