Clay in Motion - Foundation Throwing Course - $390

Dates: Tuesdays, 27th January - 10th March 2026, 6pm - 8:30pm

In this 6-week pottery course, you’ll build a solid foundation in wheel-thrown ceramics. You'll learn to take a simple ball of clay and throw it into something beautiful and entirely your own :-). We’ll cover all the essentials: wedging, centering (the most gloriously frustrating yet hypnotising process you’ll ever experience), wheel throwing, trimming, and decorating. In the final week we come together for a glazing session to transform your pieces into fully functional ceramics.

Possible projects include small bowls, tumblers, plant pots, vases, and mugs.....or something in between.

Each 2.5 hours lesson is guided, giving you space to discover your own rhythm and personal approach to the wheel. The final 15 minutes of every class are reserved for cleaning your wheel and…
