Spin It Up! — Intermediate Wheel Throwing
6 weeks | Mondays, 13 July – 10 August & 24 August 2026 | 6:00pm – 8:30pm
Ready to take your throwing further? In this intermediate course we'll push past the basics — centring larger amounts of clay, pulling taller walls, and shaping vessels with more intention and presence. Over six sessions you'll work on vases, bowls, and cylinder forms while developing your own feel for the wheel.
Each 2.5-hour class is hands-on from start to finish, with guided instruction woven through making time so you can find your own rhythm at the wheel. The final session includes a dedicated glazing session where you'll make decisions about surface and colour before your work goes into the kiln.
Please note: there is no class on Monday 17 August — this week is reserved for the first firing.
